DESCRIPTION:Paw Prints Calendar Contest\nFundraiser\n\nSubmit a photo of your pet for a chance to be featured in our 2024 Paw Prints Calendar! Don’t have a pet? Vote and save lives! \nWhat Is It?\nThe LCHS Paw Prints Calendar Fundraiser is one of LCHS’s most exciting annual fundraisers. Donations from the voting process and the sale of the calendars will go toward saving the lives of countless local homeless pets. Just enter your favorite photo of your pet for FREE and rally your friends\, family\, co-workers\, and everyone else to vote for your pet to win one of 13 coveted spots in the 2024 Paw Prints Calendar. Voting requires a $1 donation for each vote. Feel free to cast multiple votes\, and allocate them however you wish! Voting begins the moment the first picture is submitted\, on June 1st\, 2023 at 9:00am. Good luck to every pet! \nWho Wins?\n\nThe 13 single photo entries with the most votes will be eligible to have that photo featured as a full-page pet of the month OR as the calendar cover\, with the top vote-getter selecting from the cover or any of the 12 months\, the 2nd highest vote-getter selecting from whichever spots the first place winner did not choose\, and so forth.\nThe next 12 highest entries will be eligible to have their submitted photo featured as a 3.75″ x 5″ size photo on the bottom page of a single month\, with each entry receiving their choice of the available months in order of the vote total from highest to lowest.\nIn the event of a tied number of votes\, the tie will go to the entry that achieved the tied vote total first.\n\nWhat Do They Win?\n\nThere are 13 feature spots available for the top 13 vote earning entries in the 2024 Paw Prints Calendar Photo Fundraiser. These include the Calendar cover and 12 full-­page spreads\, one for each month. \n1ST Prize\n\nThe top entry may choose the calendar cover OR one of the 12 months in the calendar for their pet’s photo\nThe opportunity to have their pet professionally photographed by Black and Hue Photography.  Winners MUST be available on one of the offered dates to be eligible to receive a pet photo shoot with Black and Hue Photography.\nFive Free 2024 Paw Prints Calendars\n\nTop 3\n\nThe top 3 entries will receive a billboard featuring their pet’s photo for a week prior to the launch of next year’s contest\n\n2ND Prize (12 Winners)\n\nEach entry from 2nd place to 13th place may choose from the feature spots not chosen by the winners ahead of them. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a demonstration of what a group of our fosters has been learning over the past 6 weeks! They’ve been meeting with our Dog Coordinator and receiving guidance on their journey toward becoming polite house dogs\, and now they’ve mastered the basics and it’s time to graduate. \nThey have learned place\, release\, sit\, lay down\, leave it\, and watch me. Come by and see their new skills and potentially take home your new best friend! \nDog training isn’t just a way to teach manners\, it helps you bond with your dog\, show them they can trust you and look to you for permission or instruction\, and it helps ward off destructive behaviors from boredom. Training is not only fun for dogs\, but also essential for successful forever homes. \nWe ask that you not bring your dog without prior permission from our dog coordinator and suggest filling out an adoption application ahead of this event! This will put you in touch with their fosters and allow us to even pre-approve your application so that you just have to meet them and celebrate their graduation! \n Adoption Application
