Sol

Sol - lovingly known as “mama” - was a wonderful mom to 6 puppies, and now that they’ve found their forever homes, she’s ready for one too. This sweet girl has so much love to give. It may take her a moment to adjust to new people, but once she does, she is a capital V Velcro dog. She is house trained, crate trained, incredibly smart, and very loyal. She also has quite a few other tricks up her sleeve including sit, down, stay, place, here, heel, leave it, and center – all of which she can do at home and outside during fetch. She loves structured playtime and picks up new skills very quickly. We’re currently working on a competition heel! Hiking is another favorite activity of hers, and she loves a good snuggle. Cats are a no for sweet Sol, but she has made great progress sitting and waiting for other dogs to pass by when we’re out on walks. She even has a doggy friend in the neighborhood that she says hello to! That said, her reaction to other dogs is still a work in progress, and she would likely do best as the only pet in the home. A large fenced in yard would also make her very happy, but any yard will do so long as there’s a safe space for her to really run around nearby. She has more mental and physical exercise needs than the average pup, but anyone willing to meet those needs will receive an unbelievably special companion in return.
