Dante

Dante would make a great companion to someone with a relatively active lifestyle. He loves to be outside running and jumping. He likes to play fetch, both with people and with himself! A large high-fenced yard would be ideal!! He is very smart and plays with a variety of toys to keep him interested (plushies with squeakers, ropes, bones, and tennis balls). He hasn't quite earned the title ''velcro'' dog, but he's close. He LOVES to be wherever his people are at all times. He is currently in training with LCHS learning place, release, sit, lay down, leave it, and watch me. His forever family is encouraged to continue honing these skills and watch Dante's knowledge grow!! He is extremely food motivated, which is always a bonus during training. Dante can be a little skittish with newcomers, but after a proper introduction he warms up to everyone. He would be best in a home with older children due to his high energy levels. He has been okay with his foster mom's cat but tends to get a little over excited and chase. A house without cats is recommended. He is housebroken and crate trained.
