Dilbert

***************Special Needs************Dilbert is a 7 to 8 month old DEAF Catahoula / Great Dane mix. He is House trained and crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Dilbert is great with kids but because of his size and energy level I would not recommend him to a home with small children. Dilbert is Deaf but is learning Hand training Signals and is doing really well. He has mastered Sit, come, climb, and Free. We are working on the ''down'' signal and the ''no barking'' signal. Dilbert would be a great only dog or a great addition to a home where there are other dogs. He will most likely need a home where his new owner is home and with him a lot of the time. He would also benefit from a new owner that has some previous experience with deaf dogs but that is not a deal breaker.
