MEET HERA — YOUR FUTURE BEST FRIEND Hera, is about 1½ years old and 38 pounds of sweetness, playfulness, and love. ❤️Hera’s story didn’t begin the way any dog’s should. She was found discarded in the woods and understandably needed a little time to learn that people could be trusted. But once she did, her beautiful personality began to shine.Today, Hera is a loving, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to find “her” person. And when Hera loves you, she wants to be close — very close. She loves snuggling in bed with her foster mom and is an unapologetic bed hog who firmly believes sleeping is best done while touching her person.• House trained• Wonderful with children• Loves dogs her size or smaller and can play for hours• A little intimidated by larger dogs• Walks well on a harness and leash — collars are definitely not her favorite!• Loves having a yard to run, explore and play fetch• Happily handles squirrel patrol and takes guarding her backyard very seriously • Smart, affectionate and eager to be part of whatever her person is doingAnd this girl LOVES her toysHera is still young and working on her manners, but she’s a smart girl and, with patience and consistency, she will continue learning that all four paws belong on the floor.
