May

May was transferred from a crowded animal shelter. She sat at the shelter for six days with open wounds from an embedded chain prior to LCHS transferring her and providing veterinary care. May is one of the happiest dogs you'll meet. She'll need an adopter who will give her structure, and be firm, yet gentle with the rules. May is crate trained and quiet in the crate. May loves to play fetch and she loves children, although we'd recommend older children only (8 yrs and over) so she doesn't knock them over while playing. May will do best with an easy going dog or as an only dog. She doesn't mind cats, but they might mind her, especially when playtime begins. In her foster home, May is well behaved and respectful. She loves to play inside and run the zoomies out in the backyard and will need a fenced yard. The end of the day generally ends with May on the couch enjoying a late night show with the family.
