Mia

This sleek and beautiful girl is a clever and people-focused sweetheart who will thrive with someone who is ready for an attentive and trainable dog. Mia is house trained and crate trained, and she's quiet except when she's trying to communicate some urgent need. She's about a year old and is a perfectly compact, short-legged medium- sized dog. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but she's a little bulldozer, so any playmates will need to be able to withstand her rough-housing. Because she plays so intensely and can be a little mouthy, we recommend no small children or smaller dogs. (Not tested with cats, but would probably be a ''no'' for the same reasons. ) Mia ready knows ''sit,'' ''down,'' ''paw,'' and ''touch.'' She needs daily exercise, she but also happily snuggles on the couch for hours of chill time, too. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard for play time and a human who is excited to continue her training. If you give her the attention she needs, Mia is likely to be a deeply bonded companion.
