Sammy

Sammy is a fun loving, goofy boy! He is an absolute sweetheart and a very good boy who loves attention! He is super energetic and needs a home with a fenced in yard to be able to run out the zoomies that he gets. He is house and crate trained, but due to inconsistencies with his last home, he does need a home with structure, rules and someone experienced in obedience training. He gets along with other dogs and seems completely unphased by cats. He would do fine with a home with children, but due to his energy level, we would suggest a home with older children. And while he loves other dogs, he definitely tries to be the assertive alpha male so he needs an owner that will correct behavior and teach him his place. Sammy loooooves naps, but his ideal nap is in your lap--he has no clue he is not a tiny dog and wants to be curled up in your lap. Again, he is very very VERY sweet, but with some unknowns of his last home, he came to us very skittish so he needs a family with love and patience.
