At the Subaru Loves Pets: Adoption Event & Pet Festival on Saturday, Proctor Subaru Tallahassee unveiled a HUGE surprise: A Subaru Outback that we can use for Freedom Rides to rescue and transport animals in need.
You’ve seen the Subaru around town, we’ve been driving one for years thanks to the corporate nationwide Subaru of America, Inc. Loves Pets program, but a few months ago, our Subaru was rear ended and totaled. When Proctor looked into a replacement, they discovered the program was ending, and we would not be able to receive a replacement vehicle through the corporate program.
So, Proctor Subaru took it upon themselves to make sure we had a car to continue our rescue efforts, and presented us with our very own vehicle! We’d be lying if we said no tears were shed. We can’t emphasize enough how grateful we are for this huge demonstration of support, and we rely so heavily on our Subaru for transport that being without our sweet orange Subaru the past few months has made us all the more appreciative of Proctor, and how essential this car is to our work.
