Giving Tuesday

Who’s this? Click Here to hear Blue’s Story.

This Giving Tuesday, please consider making a gift that will touch the lives of the most vulnerable and at risk. Your gift will help ensure that the work of LCHS continues uninterrupted as the end of the year nears, and as we embark on our planning for 2023.

We’ll continue our rescue, foster, and adoption efforts – assisting animals within Leon County and the surrounding areas. We’ll forge ahead with plans to strengthen community outreach, including the LCHS Community Pet Pantry and new TNR efforts in our immediate community. We’ll remain mindful to stretch every precious dollar donated toward the organization.

The last three years have proved trying at best for those in the rescue field. What keeps us doing this work every day? The trust and support of those supporting our mission to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Educate. What would we like to share with each of you? That people and pets are touched every day by LCHS. Some families are brought together, while others are kept together. All are afforded the utmost dignity and respect throughout the process, and every animal is showered with love.

Thank you for helping LCHS feed hundreds of local pets while providing a cushion for their struggling families. Thank you for providing LCHS with tools necessary to offer advice and resources to pet owners and good samaritans in need of help. Thank you for helping LCHS welcome over 850 animals facing uncertainty into our foster program this year.

On this Giving Tuesday and throughout the year, we appreciate you for being a part of the LCHS family.
